    This nail is designed to simulate the hand-forged nails of the 1700's.

    The black-oxide finish and the three sided head furthers the antique look of the nail. Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect. Uses include rough sawn interior and exterior siding, face-nailing flooring, batten doors, paneling, countertops and cabinet work.

    Pleas note that the galvanized version is not finished in black oxide but has a shiny sliver finish.

    Designed originally for the construction of wood boxes and crates, Box Nails are also used for nailing fences, siding, face nailing floors, framing, and roughing. Available in Standard Finish and Hot-Dip Galvanized.

    Clout Nails are similar in design to Shingle Nails but made from lighter gauge steel. Useful for box and crate construction and for the application of thin siding and paneling. Clout Nail are also used in furniture repair, cabinet work, batten doors, and countertops. Available in Standard Finish only.
