Are these sturdy enough to hold cast iron pans?

We believe the hook is strong enough to hold cast iron pots and pans. Obviously we do not know the specific weight of you items so we cannot say for sure but what you screw the hook into is more of a question. We would recommend that you screw the hook directly into wood that can hold the weight of you items.
